Ahmed Kada

Speaks at ID WORLD on Postal Innovation

Ahmed Kada, as a director of development division at Morocco Post, has worked across many aspects of business including information system engineering, prospective strategy governance, product management and marketing. Between 2000 to 2008, he made his contribution of the implementation of the legal and technical requirements arsenal of Morocco e-government platform. With over 10 year’s international experience in UPU, he is now acting as vice-chairman of the Telematics Cooperative (TC) Management Board with responsibility for strategy, Chairman of the post subgroup (TC) and member of the committee management of the advanced electronic services users group. He is also Member of the Training and Research Unit “Automation and Information Technology”, University Med V and 2010 today, Member of the Moroccan Chapter of PMI (Project Management Institute).

He is holder of brevets and Invention & Innovation Awards and authors of several articles in international journals afferents to strategy governance model and to automatic, security, information system, bank, e-government, identity and postal industry activities.


The opportunities of Universal Secure Postal Identity (USPI) are interconnecting the national identity systems of postal operators on a trusted and secure platform via .post. It is focusing on the foundation stones of an integrated ePostal Platform that is secure, flexible, scalable, cost effective and rich as Postal Ecosystem enabling business and therefore profit.

The foundation stones of the integrated ePostal Platform Model (PPM) are the three principal postal industries branches: the physical branch, the financial branch, and the electronic branch coupled with the postal business background, namely the Postal Trust. The postal trust will be governed by USPI related government biometric identity, certificate X509 numerical identity and physical postal address identity integration linking. The historic postal role as a trusted third party is the USPI, via 660,000 post offices linked to .post, can facilitate universal authentication for the citizens.
