“A new paradigm for Automated Border Clearance”

With the advent of the electronic passport, the introduction of smart gates in international airports for automated border clearance (ABC) started in 2007, promoting the massive use of this electronic document for identity verification purposes. Slowly but steadily, the increasing adhesion to this technology conducted in 2010 to the development of a new paradigm in this domain, a new generation of e-gates that explore the concept of mobility and optimize the form factor and the efficiency of all the technologies involved in the process of identity check for high-security applications such as border control.

The resulting solution is adapted to the business cases of the various stakeholders of these projects, namely airports, airline companies, security forces, government entities in general and border management in particular.

Vision-Box has driven the development of this new wave of technologies and will present the latest developments and results achieved in this evolving field of activity.
