“Enhancing life with light”

A growing number of municipal authorities are embracing the benefits that innovative lighting has to offer in increasing comfort, safety and security, thus making districts more attractive, and enhancing the public’s sense of well-being. Not to mention its positive impact on environmental protection and city branding.

Philips commitment is clear and stated by top management and high performance is externally recognized: we have improved our performance in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes in 2009 for a sixth year in a row.

We set the scene by delivering better experiences for better lives, helping cities build an image of livability and vitality and enriching the experience of our cities while saving energy.

We respect the planet by flexible lighting that provides light pollution to skies, and a lighting protecting animal habitats and preserve bio-diversity. On our way to cradle-to-cradle. We prove with our innovative solutions cities can get what they need without taking from others.

We provide innovative energy efficiency solutions and services to track and manage consumption. We deliver the tools cities need to respect limitations and surpass their EE own goals, by putting light to work when and where it makes sense and make it easy on the eyes and conscience and budget.

In few words, we simply enhance life with light.
