Vincent Santacroce

Marketing Director of Integrated & Digital Services – Poste Italiane

Speaks at ID WORLD on Postal Innovation

Vincent Nicola Santacroce joined Poste Italiane in 2004 as Mail Division CIO. Currently he is the Marketing Head for Integrated and Digital Services.

Pior to Poste Italiane, Vincent worked for 13 years in the Government and Telco industries as a Senior Manager for a worldwide leading consulting company.

In 2008, he launched and is still managing the “Electronic Mailman Project” in which all mailmen have been equipped with mobile devices and printers that enabled Poste Italiane to provide a wide portfolio of services (real time proof of delivery, justice notifications, fine management, real-time telegram delivery, mobile payments, door-to-door postal services) to its customers.

Vincent has a degree in Business & Economics from the Luiss University in Rome. He’s married to Antonella and has 2 daughters (Gaia and Sofia). His major hobby is golf where he is working very hard to lower his handicap to a single digit.

“How a traditional postal operator can grow in a digital communication world”

Poste Italiane is expanding out of government-led electronic communications services to create a communications platform based on certified e-ID. The Project is a concept for a new technical infrastructure that creates a community of senders and receivers from a platform that is open to other postal operators’ certified communications. Its integrated mail system allows retail and business customers to manage simple and transactional communications in a secure way according to user preference for physical or digital delivery. The services planned for consumers will expand beyond traditional postal and banking services to provide tracking for hybrid communications, alerts for bill payment and an address book. Poste Italiane will offer platforms for digital signature, payments and hybrid mail.
