Wolfgang Mildner worked in several business positions for Siemens AG since 1986, before joining PolyIC. He was responsible for a number of projects turning promising technologies into business.
Additionally, Wolfgang Mildner is acting as Chairman of the Organic Electronics Association/VDMA.
PolyIC was founded in November 2003 as a joint venture between Leonhard Kurz Stiftung & Co. KG and Siemens AG and is now a 100% subsidiary of Leonhard Kurz Stiftung & Co. KG. PolyIC develops new technologies, which will provide electronics from a printing machine.

Organic and printed electronics is a technology which provides huge potentials for new markets and applicationsThe talk encloses an outlook and the view of the 4th release of the roadmap of the OE-A (organic and printed electronics association)
The OE-A is the global network of organizations along the new value chain for this technology.
The roadmap describes the development of 5 cluster applications: display, Lighting, electronics, organic photovoltaics and Integrated smart systems in the categories Status today, short term, mid term and long term development.
It describes the developemnt of the production processes and materials which are used and will be used.
The technology promises are far more environmently safe production and products. The talk describes activities of the OE-A to analyse this development and the results.
