Mr. Zeca Pires manages the Government Business Development Group in the Latin American and Caribbean region for DataCard Group, where he is responsible for discuss and advise Government institutions and community groups on identification and the issuance of secure documents.
In 1989, Mr. Pires graduated from The Sao Judas University of Sao Paulo, Brazil with a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
In 1993, Mr. Pires graduated from the Ibero-Americana University of Sao Paulo, Brazil with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. In 1997 after pursue an exclusive and intense program of study he earned his Master Degree in Marketing at FGV in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Mr. Pires worked for 17 years in the financial market in Brazil developing multiple projects involving card personalization systems. Since 1995 Mr. Pires worked closely with the financial institutions in Brazil on the migration of magnetic stripe cards to chip implementing pilots and mass issuance solutions.
In 1999, Mr. Pires joined Datacard Group where he have coordinated teams consult, developed and implemented a number of large scale identification programs in the Americas region.
